Tips for Travellers
Safety and PrecautionsTanzania is generally a friendly, safe and stable country. Always when travelling take basic security precautions:
Family Safaris Tanzania offers wonderful value for families and we can arrange a range of carefully selected destinations, camps, and safari lodges. Please keep in mind some of the lodges and camps do not take children under 12 years, however, Majestic Kilimanjaro will advise you on the best options for your family safaris (Wildlife and Culture included). Best Time to Travel You can travel to Tanzania at any time of year, there is always somewhere game viewing is good. However for the best wildlife viewing, visit during the months of December through February, and July through September. If you're interested in something more specific, for example birds, then you would choose the wetter months. Tanzanian Seasons Late March - late May: The long rain season, not crowded on climbs or safaris. July to October: Dry season - high peak season for tourists. Late October to Mid December: Short rain season and usually few people in national parks. December - March: "Summer time" most people come to Tanzania to view Wildebeest Migration and climb Kilimanjaro. Currency
