2nd Donation from Go Fund Me Campaign

Crew Members receive their 2nd Donation - Very Happy!

In mid August we transferred from Australia to Tanzania, the second amount of fund raising donations we received through our Go Fund Me fundraising campaign.

Between 22nd - 25th August 2020, 39 crew members gathered together to receive their second donation. Each member received US$54.80. Their first donation was US$168.83 making the total of donations received per person US$223.63 - a great amount that will help them live while the climbing and safari industry is getting back on it's feet.

Accounting Summary:

On the 13/8/2020 we transferred the remaining amount of donations US$2,197.99 from Australia to Tanzania. US$2,182.99 was received in Tanzania after bank fees were deducted.
US$100 was deducted and given to John Nkoo as an extra donation was made by a client specifically for John.
The remaining US$2,082.99 was split equally between 38 crew members giving them US$54.80 each.

As of 13/8/20 the total amount of donations we received after Go Fund Me fees was AUS$12,490.27.

After the transfer on 13/8/2020 there are no remaining funds left in the Go Fund Me campaign account.

- Renovated a business and bought stock for a mother with 4 children.
- Funded Micro-Loans of anywhere between US$150 to US$1,5000 to start businesses.
- Funded the establishment of a grocery store business for a refugee family.
- Run a English literacy and and computer centre called Maisha Bora (for a better life) with over 60 adult refugee and local students.
- Bought 2 acres on land for a farm cooperative sticking chickens, goats and pigs.
